The game between Hitmen (6-3) and Chico'S Bail Bonds (4-4) had a change of venue for Friday's game. El Dorado Park (where our games are normally played) was under construction for some new light fixtures so welcome Whaley Park. Hitmen's debut at the new park wasn't a good one, losing by seven runs, 17-10.
Batted: 1 for 3, single.

Doubleheader # 7
July 25th, 2007, 6:00 PM PST
BACK TO WINNING!
LegalZoom (3-3) jumped out early and was able to hang on for an overtime win Wednesday night against probably the second best team in the league, the Hollywood Rookies (3-2). The best team is still LegalZoom. Holla!
LegalZoom blew a nine point lead with a minute and ten seconds left (missing like 8 of 9 free throws) to play in regulation forcing overtime. Weak!
July 25th, 2007, 7:30 PM PST
LegalZoom (4-8) wrapped up the softball season with a convincing win over the lowly Yin Yangs (1-11). A thirteen-run first inning opened the door to a 18-4 win in six innings.
Next season will start on the week of Septmember 4th, 2007.
Batted: 1 for 3 (lefty).
END OF SEASON:

Hitmen Softball
July 20th, 2007, 6:30 PM PST
Hitmen (6-2) clinched a playoff berth with a win over the Coyotes (3-5) Friday night. The Hitmen used a sixteen run fourth inning en route to an easy win.
I showed up late (3rd inning) and half-asleep due to some killer L.A. traffic. I left work at 3:00 PM PST and the game was at 6:30 PM PST. I showed up at 7:02 PM PST. I did have to drop off someone important!
Batted: 2 for 2, 2 singles.
Note: I will be making my first-start for the Hitmen this Friday at 9:00 PM PST. I made one appearance last season:
1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0.00 ERA
I currently pitch for LegalZoom's softball team.

Softball Stats Up-to-date:

Hitmen: 9 for 15, .600 (second base)

LegalZoom (2-3) first test with some new-look faces did not end up very promising as Uzi Squad (4-0) pounded them big-time, 93-68. LegalZoom trailed at halftime 36-30.
July 18th, 2007, 7:30 PM PST
Mr. CC struck out looking with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh inning as Pig 'N Whistle (10-2) escaped with a 14-11 win over LegalZoom (3-8).

Doubleheader # 5
July 11th, 2007, 6:00 PM PST
Crack Commandos (1-2) ripped LegalZoomA (2-2) Wednesday night, 85-59. LegalZoomA trailed at halftime 43-38.
July 11th, 2007, 9:00 PM PST
Dominicks (1-9) scored four runs in the bottom half of the final inning to beat LegalZoom (3-7), 16-15.
Even though we lost, I'd have to say that it was a fun game; it was close and competitive. I didn't mind losing after seeing just how happy the other team was with their celebration when the winning run crossed the plate. You'd think they just won the World Series or something. It was great.
Batted: 5 for 5, 5 singles.
"Even when you've played the game of your life, it's the feeling of teamwork that you'll remember. You'll forget the plays, the shots, and the scores, but you'll never forget your teammates."
